Creative Stretching
For five weeks in December, we'll actively and passively stretch the body, with each week focusing on one main target area (hips, spine, shoulders, etc). Our work will include long held stretches paired with pranayama, mini savasana's offered in between for gently coming back to yourself, gentle movement to support mobility, and repeat poses to encourage soft opening. This blend of practices will provide hydration to your tissue, relief to your body, and nourishment to your soul. With the colder weather, please bring an extra fluffy blanket, to make savasana warm & comfy! |

Aging Gracefully: Yoga & Lymph for Dry Skin
Learn lymphatic massage to reduce puffiness, and enhance hydration, then move into a yoga class that supports lymphatic drainage, with Yin yoga mixed in. Both practices encourage hydration of your tissues. Yoga will be done seated, standing, and on the floor; please bring a yoga mat and 2 blankets. Spend time making a body oil, with specific oils that target dry skin. You’ll also learn lymphatic massage to reduce puffiness, as well as application techniques to maximize skin hydration, with lifestyle and nutrition tips sprinkled in. This is dry skin season, but with a little effort and the right products, you can bring some suppleness back! |

Aging Gracefully: Hip & Low Back Pain
This yoga class is designed to address pelvic, hip, and low back pain. We’ll move slowly, set up in long-held stretches to relieve pain, bring in gentle massage, as well as a few strengthening poses. Essential Oils: Soothe Pelvic Pain
Make an oil blend that can help relieve mild menstrual cramps and low back pain. You’ll apply the oil with a lymphatic massage sequence to ease bloating, inflammation, and pelvic pain, with a brief talk on hormones, lifestyle, and nutrition. Also, one restorative yoga pose will be demonstrated. Put together -- all of these can alleviate your discomfort! |

Aging Gracefully: Yoga & Sleep
Gain insight into how different aspects of yoga support restful sleep. Yoga postures, breath work, restorative yoga, and meditation, are effective and realistic ways to wind down, and prepare yourself for more productive sleep. Make a nighttime blend and massage onto your feet, while also practicing soothing breath work; these practices enhance relaxation, and soften the mind. We'll also discuss habits that lead to more productive sleep, and one restorative yoga poses will be demonstrated, for you to practice before bed, or in bed, when you need help falling back to sleep. |

Make an oil blend with anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties! Once your blend is concocted, we’ll spend time massaging the area(s) that cause you pain and discomfort. Massage paired with special oils, increases circulation, which brings healing and relief, to sore muscle and tissue. |
