Aging Gracefully covers four essential topics for getting older --
1) Understand how to build bone strength 2) Learn how to improve your posture and 3) balance 4) Take your spine through it's healthy ranges of motion. Each lesson is packed with essential lessons and short, gentle movement. This course is realistic and accessible, and offers invaluable information on how to age gracefully! Lesson 1 - Bone Strength Today learn how nerves, muscles, and bones work together. You'll do a couple of strengthening exercises and receive key take-aways on strength building. Lesson 2 - Posture Improvement Learn about how your body will re-shape from the demands you place on it. Practice sitting poorly, then with improved posture, and notice the difference. Lesson 3-Spinal Range-of-Motion Today we discuss and practice the spinal ranges of motion. Gentle movement will be done sitting in a chair, with one standing pose. Lesson 4 - Bone Balance The previous lessons culminate here! Learn about your feet and the best ways to create strength and balance, and then practice with a few standing poses. |
